Digital Communication Gone Horribly Wrong
So, my daughter is sick and I was video chatting with her when my wife walks away and she freaks out and twists to scream to her:
“MOMY, I have to throw up!”
to which my wife runs back over and screams:
“WE’LL CALL YOU BACK”.
Then a sound I’d rather not put into words spews from my daughter, apparently all over a blanket. All of this transpiring visually on screen both before and after my wife spins the computer out of the way. Almost as if a documentary was occurring and the camera was dropped, but the action continued. I could analyze this deeper as to the effect of digital communication and that of a more real interaction, but I’m just worried about my kid.
