Today Makes 120 Days
I no longer have any idea what I am doing. My original goal was to reach 200mi in a month. Then to break an 8min mi average run. Then to run for 100 days straight. Then I guess I figured since I wasn’t taking sick days off from work I could continue to run as well, so why not try for 120 days. Here is it. I don’t know what else to do now? Do I continue for another 120 days? I’m not sure if my body can continue at this pace. I feel great, but my lower abdominals are so tight I can’t do a sit-up without sever pain. Seriously. No joke. When I cough, it hurts. When I sneeze, holy shit, hold on, cause “wince” doesn’t begin to illustrate the visual uncomfortableness I am feeling. Other than that, I guess I could continue, but I’m tired. Not unlike the nickname a few of you have labeled me with (Forest), when he got tired he simply stopped. I’m not sure I am there yet, but I really feel close. Anyway, by the numbers:
- 120 days straight of running “at least” a 5k a day
- 778.6 total mi
- Average of 6.48mi a day
