Running in 2011
Another year is almost closed out. This year marks the most miles I have ever covered by foot, by sea or by pedal. Prior to this year, the most miles I had covered in a year was around 1992 when I was cycling significant distances. This year marks the first for consistently running. It wasn’t without injury, but I am happy to report nothing serious/major. This past year I was lucky enough to run next to both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, at least 10 different states and all kinds of time zones. I would say I had a break through in September when I stopped drinking for a year and concentrated on running instead. That really amped up my miles. All-in-all, a great year. I am looking forward to running just as hard for 2012 while we still have a planet to run on. As always, my main purpose for running is to be prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse at the end of 2012. See you all next year.
